ICCM has been supporting the Irish Community in Manchester for over 30 years. We provide a whole range of support services to help people most in need, including the elderly and those who are isolated and lonely.
We support our community in many ways. We have been providing weekly lunch groups for people to come together, have lunch and see friends. Our free and confidential advice and information service are offered in a friendly, supportive and non-judgmental manner covering all the main welfare benefits including Personal Independent Payment, Employment Support Allowance, Housing and Council Tax benefit as well as general housing, rehousing issues and debt problems.
We have recently extended our services offer for people with a multitude of needs such as alcohol use, physical and mental health issues, and discharge from hospital to name a few. We are a small team with aspirations to grow our staff team to help even more people in need.
