Theresa Grant OBE

Theresa is currently interim Chief Executive at Liverpool City Council. Leading and stabilising a complex public sector organisation.

Theresa had a local government career spanning over four decades in both Ireland and the United Kingdom, with 12 years as CEO.

Her story

Theresa is a native of Wexford Town and moved to Manchester in 1996. She served as a Trustee for the Irish World Heritage Centre for 20 years and also as a Trustee for the Halle Orchestra for 5 years, with NED experience with a FTSE 250 investment company and other investment boards. Most recently Theresa has overseen the financial recovery of Northamptonshire County Council and the creation of two new unitary authorities and was awarded an OBE by the Queen, in recognition of her contribution to the public sector. Following this, Theresa joined the private sector for 18 months, delivering Housing solutions to local authorities. Theresa is now interim CEO of Liverpool City Council, stabilising and leading a major organisation. Theresa also acts as an Advisor to Enterprise Ireland.
