Our Services
Advice & Information
Our free and confidential advice and information service covers all the main welfare benefits including Personal Independent Payment, Employment Support Allowance, Housing and Council Tax benefit as well as general housing, rehousing issues and debt problems.
We offer our services in a friendly, supportive, and non-judgmental manner. The service is offered from our Levenshulme office and on an outreach basis across Manchester.
Please contact us for more details as this support is by appointment only.
Appointments are held at our Manchester Office.
Lunchtime Events
Our lunchtime groups bring people together to have fun, and help reduce social isolation and loneliness while promoting health and wellbeing through exercise, dance and community involvement. The groups are free of charge to attendees, who are provided with a light lunch, live entertainment, bingo and a raffle. The groups are popular with between 30 and 120 attending each one in the four locations they take place across the city.
For many people, these groups maintain community involvement and opportunities to meet friends or make new ones in a warm safe friendly environment. There is also an opportunity to receive advice and information service if needed, from a trained member of ICCM staff.

Irish Traveller Support
We provide a range of services specifically for Irish travellers. We have been supporting travellers on the Dantzic site supported by Manchester City Council. Our support services focus on providing advice and information; accessing welfare entitlements; and family support.
Allotment Project
Irish Community Care Manchester allotment project is based on the community allotments at Tonbridge Road in Levenshulme. The project was established in 2015 and is aimed at over 50s with the aim to help reduce social isolation and loneliness. The facilities on the allotment include a tool shed, polytunnel, and ample space to grow fruit and vegetables.
As a result of the success of a Breakfast Club we originally started at St. Mary’s parish centre, we have now acquired a large, well-equipped meeting shed with cooking facilities. This has enabled us to run the breakfast club on site.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact our office for further information.
Passport Service
We provide support in relation to obtaining an Irish passport. Our service ranges from providing the necessary forms and guidance through to assistance with the completion of forms.
Burials for People with no Next of Kin
We can provide a respectful burial and resting place for people who have no next of kin, in both Moston and Southern Cemeteries. If you are made aware of anyone from the community whom we can help in this way please contact us and we will provide assistance.
