Katie Jemmett, Director, The Ireland Funds Great Britain
Katie Jemmett is Director of the Great Britain chapter of The Ireland Funds, a worldwide philanthropic network of friends of Ireland. Her role is to lead the development of the IFGB, raising money to support charitable causes across Great Britain and Ireland and building a network of donors and supporters passionate about Ireland and the Irish community.
Her story
Katie was born in Dublin and has lived in London since 2011. With a background in marketing and business development, she moved to the charity sector in 2014 leading the Corporate Membership programme at London Transport Museum.
She has been Director of The Ireland Funds GB since 2018 and loves the connection it gives her to Ireland and Irish people. She is married to Sam, and they have two-year-old twin boys, Alex and Lucas. Her guilty pleasure is an episode of Eastenders and a glass of a full-bodied red wine.
